Mr. Ennis's secretary posed as a potential tenant for her boss, an unscrupulous landlord who rents Marlon a substandard apartment with all types of safety and healty violations in the episode of The Wayans Bros. titled "Independence Day" in Season 4 of the series. The part of the secretary is played by actress Nikki Tyler-Flynn, who, in addition to her appearance on The Wayans Bros., has also appeared in guest roles on such series as The King of Queens (where she had a recurring role), Star Trek:Voyager, The John Larroquette Show, an episode of Murphy Brown, and an episode of 3rd Rock from the Sun.
