Earl William Billings (born July 4, 1945) appeared as Rick, a rival restaurant owner of Pops and father of J'Leeta, a girlfriend of Shawn's in the fifth season episode titled "". A gifted character actor, Earl is perhaps best be known as Rob in the 1975-1978 ABC-TV series What's Happening!!.

Life and careerEdit

Billings was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Willie Mae Billings.[1]

He has gained recognition for his participation in ads for Aflac. Earl has appeared in many television shows and films, such as Antwone Fisher (2002), American Splendor (2003), and Something New (2006). He starred in the short-lived ABC-TV series Miss Guided, co-starring Judy Greer and Brooke Burns.[2]
